CancerConnections was born from caring for a cancer patient for seven years, through the better times and bad times, forwarding our experiences and research coupled with cooperative partnerships with medical professionals, other charitable organizations, and chefs, all with the memory of a beautifully determined young woman under a silk scarf sitting at the kitchen table surrounded by books, who loved to eat avocados and refused to drink the sugary milky drinks.
